ROSCOE ROSCOE JACOBS LADDER

Cradled by the good name of Slow Dance Records, London psych-enthusiasts Roscoe Roscoe have shared their dreamy second single. Following last year's face-melting 'Brain Retrieve', 'Jacobs Ladder' is a decidedly more subtle affair. Equipped with plenty of guitar pedals and a cathedral's worth of reverb, the blissed out piece is a modern take on the washy shoegaze that was made famous by the likes of Ride and Chapterhouse in the 90s. Having written the song "in a matter of minutes while I was playing around on the guitar watching TV" (explains guitarist Jacob Muna), 'Jacobs Ladder is a lesson in jumping on an idea that feels good and not overthinking it.
